About

Laura Fullerton is a serial founder, health optimisation obsessive, and the creator of Monk — a wellness tech company on a mission to help build wildly resilient humans.

She’s best known for launching the world’s first smart ice bath and cold exposure app, combining science-backed tech with elegant design. Under her leadership, Monk has raised over £2.8M in funding, landed features in VogueThe Times, and The FT, and won Health & Wellbeing Startup of the Year at the UK Startup Awards in 2025.

Equal parts builder and biohacker, Laura’s work lives at the intersection of performance and emotional resilience. She’s spent the past decade deep in the world of startups, cold exposure, fundraising, female leadership, and everything in between.

Prior to Monk, Laura built and exited multiple businesses — including Fitty, a health & fitness subscription box (remember when those were a thing?), and a second venture under NDA – which she promises makes it sound far more mysterious than it was. She’s also led marketing for the Health Optimisation Summit, and launched the Submerge podcast, where she interviews founders, researchers, and high-performers about nervous system support, psychedelics and mental health, female biohacking, breathwork, and beyond.

Laura regularly speaks on stages and panels about female founders, raising investment, mental resilience, and how to build at full tilt without losing yourself in the process. She’s also deeply curious about how we can work with — not against — our biology as we scale businesses.

Laura’s here to build iconic things — without losing her mind.
